Despite the claims of Pakistan Awami Tehreek of being a peaceful movement, its workers stormed a police station in Rawalpindi today and injured several police officers who were only fulfilling their duties to safeguard public property. Police cars were broken and the state was made to suffer a loss worth millions of rupees. The way police officers were thrashed today by these so called “peaceful revolutionaries” has completely exposed the reality of their 'revolution'. Although Chief Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif has announced a compensation of Rs. 300,000 for each injured police officer.
The incident clearly indicates that these people are working against the prosperity that is now knocking at the doors of the common people of Pakistan. PML (N) is fulfilling all the promises that it made to the Pakistanis during election campaign and this fact is causing nightmares for the opponents who fear their complete political annihilation if PML (N) does not get distracted from its progressive economic agenda.
Nobody bothered to show this brutality and horror show on their TV channels, unlike the Lahore Incident where few Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) members died in the fire response of police. This is totaly opposite thing, they ambushed the Police station and indiscriminately started beating the Policemen. See for yourself in Photos.
